content protection

    content protection

    Thread Status:

    Good Morning;

    How will "content" be protected as it traverses the internet ?? will it be encrypted so that "keys" are needed to utilize the information ? will media packets all be in the clear ?? Seems like the media companies would want this resolved before allowing it onto the true internet.

    This problem does not exist with companies like Comcast since it used pretty much a private network to distribute its programming.

    Please educate me..

    found my own answer...ends up content will be encrypted in the future. This will make it tougher to hack/pilfer.
